Delete your account
You can have your Gri-Learn account and everything stored with it removed. You do not need to be signed in, and you do not need the app installed.
Ask for a deletion link
Enter the email address of the account. We send that inbox a link with one button on it, and pressing the button deletes the account.
What is deleted
Straight away, and it cannot be undone:
- Your name, your email address and your date of birth.
- Your guardian’s name and email address, if you are under 18 and gave them.
- Your college, your university and your semester.
- Every topic you have opened, every quiz answer, every score, your points and your streak.
- Your consent record, and your Google or Apple sign-in link to us.
- Any unused sign-in link sitting in your inbox, so an old email cannot bring the account back.
What we keep, and why
Two things survive, and neither one still names you. Your name, your email address and anything linking these rows to you are removed in the same operation as the deletion.
- A record that an account was deleted. We have to be able to show that deletions actually happen, which is impossible if the evidence deletes itself.
- Which syllabus was asked for. If you ever asked us to add your university, that request stays without your name or address on it. It is the only record of which syllabus to build next, and the students it helps are not you.
If you can still sign in
There is a faster route: open Settings in the app or on the website and use Delete account. It does exactly the same thing, without waiting for an email. This page exists for when that is not possible.
If none of this works
Write to info@grishu.com and a person will do it for you. That includes the case where you have lost access to the email address on the account, which no automatic route can solve: we will ask you enough to be sure it is your account before we delete anything.
