तीनों tools, ठीक-ठीक

  • Tabbed browsing: एक window, कई खुले pages, हर एक ऊपर अपनी tab में। Tabs एक ही window में रहती हैं; एक बंद करने से बाकी बची रहती हैं।
  • Bookmarks (favourites): जान-बूझकर बचाए हुए URLs, अच्छे नामों से, चाहें तो folders में। एक click, और महीनों बाद भी वापस। Bookmark address बचाता है, page का content नहीं।
  • History: browser का automatic log: हर visit, time के साथ, search करने लायक, जब लगे "कहीं तो देखा था Tuesday को...", और चाहें तो clear करने लायक।

  1. Ctrl+T से नई tab खुलती है जो page पढ़ रहे हैं उसे छोड़े बिना search कीजिए।
  2. Link पर Ctrl+click से वह background tab में खुलता है Current paragraph खत्म करते-करते references की line लगा दीजिए।
  3. Ctrl+Tab खुली tabs में घुमाता है Notes और lecture के बीच किताब के पन्नों की तरह flip कीजिए।

Marks कहाँ कटते हैं

यह लिखना कि bookmark "page को save करता है": वह URL save करता है; site बदल जाए या बंद हो जाए तो bookmark वही खोलेगा जो अब वहाँ है। Tabs को windows समझ लेना: tabs एक ही window के ANDAR रहती हैं। और classification के लिए note: history clear करने से bookmarks नहीं जाते, दोनों अलग stores हैं।

यह BCA103 का आख़िरी topic था। अब आप एक keypress को ALU तक, एक file को cloud तक, और एक URL को उसके server तक trace कर सकते हैं। आज रात वैसा बर्ताव भी कीजिए: हर subject का bookmarks folder बनाइए, इस app को pin कीजिए, और खोई references history से निकालिए। Chirag की दुकान का intern अब counter के लिए भी तैयार है, और exam hall के लिए भी।
