Interview પહેલાં employer તમને તમારા resume અને હવે વધુને વધુ LinkedIn profile દ્વારા ઓળખે છે. આ first impressionથી interview મળશે કે નહીં તે નક્કી થઈ શકે છે, તેથી બંનેને carefully તૈયાર કરો.

Tech resumeના components
Tech resumeમાં સામાન્ય રીતે આ sections હોય છે:
Contact information: name, email, phone અને LinkedIn/GitHub links. Short summary અથવા objective. Technical skills: તમને આવડતી languages, frameworks અને tools. Projects, જે student માટે ખાસ મહત્વપૂર્ણ છે: તમે શું build કર્યું અને કઈ technologies વાપરી તે લખો, અને final-year projectને prominent રાખો. Education, તથા experience, internships અથવા certifications.
Resume concise રાખો, સામાન્ય રીતે 1-2 pages, clear અને સંપૂર્ણ error-free. એક typo પણ carelessnessનો signal આપી શકે છે. Recruiters ઝડપથી skim કરે છે, તેથી relevant skills અને strong projects તરત દેખાય તે રીતે લખો. Projectsને specifically describe કરો: કઈ problem solve કરી, શું build કર્યું અને કઈ tech વાપરી.

Tailor કરો અને LinkedIn professional રાખો
દરેક જગ્યાએ same resume ન મોકલો. દરેક role માટે tailor કરો: job description વાંચો અને તે role માટે સૌથી relevant skills તથા projectsને emphasize કરો. Job descriptionમાં આવેલા keywords વાપરો, કારણ કે ઘણી companies resume screeningમાં relevant keywords શોધે છે.
Web-developer role માટે web projects અને skills આગળ રાખો; data role માટે data work highlight કરો.
LinkedIn તમારી professional online presence છે, જેને recruiters actively search કરે છે. Suitable photo, clear headline, summary, skills, projects અને education સાથે profile complete અને professional રાખો. LinkedIn resumeને complement કરે છે અને opportunitiesને તમને શોધવામાં મદદ કરે છે. Apply કરતા પહેલાં બંનેમાં invest કરો.

Option A ખોટું છે: દરેક role માટે generic resume નહીં પરંતુ role-fit resume જોઈએ. Option C ખોટું છે: Tailoring relevant matchને obvious બનાવે છે અને chances સુધારી શકે છે. Option D opposite છે: Projects abilityના key evidence છે; roleને relevant projects highlight કરો.

કારણ કે projects એ CONCRETE EVIDENCE છે કે તમે ખરેખર software build કરી શકો છો. Formal experience ઓછું ધરાવતા student માટે real applied skillનો આ સૌથી મજબૂત proof છે.
Developer hire કરનાર employer માત્ર તમે technologies 'study' કરી છે તે જોવા માંગતો નથી; તે જાણવા માંગે છે કે તમે તેનો ઉપયોગ કરીને working software build, problems solve અને project complete કરી શકો છો કે નહીં. Degree અને coursework concepts શીખ્યા છે તે બતાવે છે, પરંતુ projects બતાવે છે કે તમે તેમને USE કર્યા છે.
Final-year project ખાસ valuable છે, કારણ કે તેમાં real problemથી solution design, actual technologiesથી build, testing અને delivery, એટલે કે આખી engineering process, દેખાય છે.
