Support
This page covers the website and the Gri-Learn app, which are one account and one set of data. Most of what students write in about can be fixed in a few seconds without waiting for us, so those are first. If none of it helps, the email address is at the bottom and a person answers it.
You cannot sign in
You forgot your password, or you never had one
On the sign-in page, choose Continue with email, type your address and press Send sign-in link. We email you a link that signs you in without a password. This is also the answer if you originally signed up with Google and cannot remember setting a password, because in that case there is no password to remember.
To set a password afterwards, use Forgot password on the sign-in page. It works whether or not you ever had one.
The sign-in link never arrived
- Check the spam or promotions folder. It is almost always there.
- Make sure you typed the same address you signed up with. A different address does not fail loudly, it quietly becomes a second, empty account.
- Each link can be used once and expires. If you opened it on a laptop and then tried the same link on your phone, ask for a new one.
You tapped the link on your phone and it opened a browser
That is the normal path, and the page will offer to open the Gri-Learn app for you. Either choice signs you in.
You can no longer open the email address you signed up with
Your account is tied to that address, and there is no setting that changes it, in the app or on the website. Sign-in links and password resets both go to that inbox, so neither of them can help. What still gets you in without the inbox:
- If your account has a password, choose Continue with email, then Use a password instead. Signing in with a password does not need your inbox. One catch: a password chosen before you first signed in to this account with an emailed link, Google or Apple was removed at that sign-in. If yours is refused and you are sure of it, write to us (below) rather than trying again.
- If you have signed in with Continue with Google or Continue with Apple before, and you can still sign in to that same Google or Apple account, use that button again. It finds your account through Google or Apple, not through your inbox. A different Google or Apple account makes a new one.
- If you are still signed in on your phone or the website, do not sign out. That sign-in keeps working until it ends by itself, a week after you signed in, but it cannot change the address, so write to us (below) before it ends.
In every case, write to info@grishu.com from an address you can open, even if one of the above got you in, because none of them changes the address. Tell us the address you signed up with and why you can no longer open it. We will ask you enough to be sure the account is yours before we change anything, and we cannot promise that it can be moved to a new address.
Signing in with a different address makes a new, empty account. Your progress stays with the old one, and nothing joins the two.
Something is wrong in a lesson
Please tell us. Real students are studying these lessons for real exams, so a wrong answer key or a broken example matters more than almost anything else on this page. Write to info@grishu.com with the subject or topic name and what looked wrong. You do not need to be sure, and a screenshot is plenty.
The app
It looks out of date, or a fix you were told about is missing
Open Profile and choose Check for updates. Most fixes reach the app on their own within a day; that button asks immediately. If it tells you a new version is needed, it will point you at where to get it.
Your progress looks different on the phone and the website
They are the same account and the same data, so this is usually one surface holding an old screen. Pull to refresh in the app, or reload the page. If it survives that, write to us and say which one is showing the older figure.
Email you did not want
Every reminder has a one press way out at the foot of it, which needs no password and changes nothing else about your account. The same switch lives in Settings, under Notifications.
Your data, and removing it
- What we store and why: the privacy policy lists all of it, including who else processes it and how long it is kept.
- Delete your account: at the bottom of Settings on the website, and at the bottom of Profile in the app. If you cannot sign in, or you no longer have the app, ask us here instead. Deleting is permanent and takes your progress with it.
- If you are a parent or guardian who was told about an account for someone under 18 and did not agree to it, use the link in the message we sent you. It ends the account in one press, with no account and no password of your own. If you no longer have that message, write to us from the address it was sent to.
Writing to us
info@grishu.com. One person reads that inbox and answers every message, so please give it a few days before writing again.
To get a useful answer the first time, tell us:
- whether you were on the website or the Gri-Learn app;
- the email address on your account;
- what you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
Never send us your password. We will not ask for it, and we cannot read it: it is stored in a form that cannot be turned back into what you typed.
Complaints
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Grishu is the data fiduciary for everything the privacy policy describes, and info@grishu.com is also the grievance contact. Write there first and we will answer. If we do not resolve it, you can take it to the Data Protection Board of India.
