Survey data ક્યાંથી આવ્યો?

Sheets lessons માં, Priya ની team એ 200 survey responses વિશ્લેષણ કર્યા. પણ એ responses ક્યાંથી આવ્યા? કોઈએ એમને હાથે type ન કર્યા.

એ Google Forms થી આવ્યા: એક online questionnaire જે team એ બનાવ્યું અને share કર્યું, જેમાં classmates એ પોતાના જવાબ type કર્યા, અને દરેક response આપોઆપ એક spreadsheet માં ઉતર્યો.

આ project loop બંધ કરે છે: Forms એ data ભેગો કરે છે જે Sheets વિશ્લેષણ કરે છે અને Slides present કરે છે. આ lesson form જાતે બનાવે છે, question types પસંદ કરતા જે તમને પાછો મળનારા data ને આકાર આપે છે. સાચા પ્રકારનો સવાલ પૂછો, અને સાફ data શૂન્ય manual entry સાથે અંદર વહે છે.

એક જાત-file થતું questionnaire

એક કાગળી survey એટલે sheets ભેગી કરવી, પછી દરેક જવાબ type કરવો એક computer માં, ધીમું અને ભૂલ-પ્રવણ. એક Google Form એક જાત-file થતું questionnaire છે: દરેક વ્યક્તિ online જવાબ આપે છે, અને response એક સુઘડ spreadsheet row માં જાતે file થાય છે, કોઈ typing નહીં, કોઈ ખોવાયેલી sheets નહીં, કોઈ ખોટો-typed data નહીં. form ફક્ત સવાલ નથી; એ એક સ્વયંસંચાલિત data-collection pipeline છે જે સીધું Sheets માં feed કરે છે.

Form બનાવો

એક Form ખોલો (Drive થી), એને એક title અને description આપો, પછી question blocks ઉમેરો:

• Multiple choice: જવાબ આપનાર એક પસંદ કરે છે (જેમ કે 'તમે કયા વર્ષમાં છો?').
• Checkboxes: ઘણા પસંદ કરો ('તમે કઈ apps વાપરો છો?').
• Short answer / Paragraph: મુક્ત text.
• Dropdown: એક લાંબી list થી એક પસંદગી. Linear scale: એક rating (1 થી 5). Date, File upload પણ.

મુખ્ય સવાલોને Required ચિહ્નિત કરો જેથી submissions પૂરી હોય. સવાલોને સહેલાઈથી reorder અને duplicate કરો.

સવાલ type data ને આકાર આપે છે: multiple choice ગણવા સાફ single answers આપે છે; free text વાંચવા વિવિધ મંતવ્યો આપે છે. વિશ્લેષણ ને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને types પસંદ કરો.

Priya ઇચ્છે છે કે જવાબ આપનારા એ BADHI Google apps પસંદ કરે જે એ વાપરે છે (એ ઘણી વાપરી શકે). કયો question type ફિટ બેસે છે?

Priya 'તમે કયા વર્ષમાં છો?' ને એક Short answer (type કરો) કે Multiple choice (First/Second/Third પસંદ કરો) તરીકે પૂછી શકે. કયો પછી વિશ્લેષણ ને સાફ data આપે છે, અને કેમ?

Marks ક્યાં કપાય છે

question types અને દરેક શું આપે છે ન જાણવા: multiple choice = એક જવાબ, checkboxes = ઘણા, short answer/paragraph = text, dropdown/linear scale = list/rating. એ ભૂલવું કે સવાલ Required હોઈ શકે. અને મોટો મુદ્દો ચૂકવો: Forms responses આપોઆપ એક linked Sheet માં ભેગા કરે છે (કોઈ manual entry નહીં). સાફ data માટે સંરચિત types પસંદ કરવા એ design અંતર્દૃષ્ટિ છે જે examiners પુરસ્કૃત કરે છે.

Pipeline આકાર લઈ રહ્યું છે

Form data pipeline નો આગળનો દરવાજો છે: જવાબ અંદર, સંરચિત rows બહાર, સીધું Sheets માં. આગળનો lesson features અને settings આવરે છે જે form ને smart અને ન્યાયી બનાવે છે, section breaks, answer validation, options shuffle કરવા, અને email addresses ભેગા કરવા (કે નહીં), એને મોકલવા અને responses આવતા જોવા પહેલા. આગળ: form features અને settings.
