Final component: તમારા work માટે બોલવું
તમારા internship gradeનો છેલ્લો ભાગ 30% marksનો presentation અને viva voce છે. તમે panel સમક્ષ internship experience રજૂ કરો છો અને તેઓ તમને questions પૂછે છે. Report સાથે આ joint-largest component છે, તેથી serious preparation જરૂરી છે.
'Viva voce'નો સરળ અર્થ oral examination છે: examiners સાથેની એવી વાતચીત જેમાં તેઓ તમારા work વિશે questions પૂછીને તમારી understanding check કરે છે. જો તમે internship genuinely કરી હોય અને પોતાનું work જાણતા હો, તો આ તમને શું કર્યું અને શું શીખ્યા તે તમારા પોતાના શબ્દોમાં બતાવવાની તક છે.

તે શું assess કરે છે
Presentation અને viva ત્રણ બાબતો assess કરે છે. પ્રથમ, તમારા internship workની understanding: તમે શું કર્યું, શા માટે કર્યું અને શું શીખ્યા તે explain કરી શકો છો કે નહીં. બીજું, તમારી communication: તમે experience clearly present કરી શકો છો અને questions confidently answer કરી શકો છો કે નહીં. ત્રીજું, workની authenticity: questionsથી confirm થાય છે કે reportમાં લખેલું work તમે ખરેખર કર્યું અને સમજ્યું છે.
Presentation તમારો prepared account છે: organization, work, learning અને challengesનું clear walkthrough. Viva એ panelના questions છે. બંને માટે foundation એક જ છે: પોતાનું work thoroughly જાણવું અને તેને clearly તથા honestly explain કરી શકવું.

Presentation અને vivaમાં સારું કેવી રીતે કરવું
Presentation તૈયાર કરો: તમે શું કર્યું, શું શીખ્યા અને કયા challenges overcome કર્યા તેની clear, well-organized story બનાવો. જો time limit હોય તો તે મુજબ aloud practice કરો. પોતાનું work deeply જાણો: report અને logbook ફરી જુઓ જેથી tasks, tools અને decisions પરના questionsના જવાબ આપી શકો.
Vivaમાં દરેક question ધ્યાનથી સાંભળો, પછી clearly અને honestly answer કરો. કોઈ વસ્તુ ખબર ન હોય તો bluff ન કરો; calm રીતે કહો કે તમને તેની ચોક્કસ માહિતી નથી. Confidenceથી બોલો: તમે work કર્યું છે એટલે તેનો ownership લો. Professional રીતે dress અને behave કરો. Exact format તથા criteria faculty mentor સાથે confirm કરો.

કારણ કે presentation અને viva એવી બાબતો check કરે છે જે written documents સંપૂર્ણ રીતે બતાવી શકતા નથી: તમારા workની real-time understanding, તેને person-to-person communicate કરવાની ability અને submitted workની authenticity.
Report તથા logbook prepared documents છે. તેઓ તમે શું કર્યું તે બતાવે છે, પરંતુ તમે decisions, reasoning અને work ખરેખર સમજો છો કે નહીં તે સંપૂર્ણ રીતે સાબિત નથી કરતાં. Vivaમાં examiners real timeમાં questions પૂછે છે, જેથી તમે પોતાની સમજથી work explain કરી શકો છો કે નહીં તે દેખાય છે.
તે communication skills પણ assess કરે છે. Job interviews, client meetings, project discussions અને workplace conversationsમાં clear રીતે explain તથા respond કરવું જરૂરી છે. Written report આ skillને test કરતો નથી.
Viva authenticity પણ confirm કરે છે. જે વ્યક્તિએ work ખરેખર કર્યું હોય તે detailed અને unpredictable questionsનો જવાબ વધુ naturally આપી શકે છે. આ assessmentની integrity જાળવે છે અને honest students માટે fairness આપે છે.
Presentation માટે તૈયારી કરવાથી તમે experienceને reflect, organize અને own કરો છો. Future employerને પણ તમે શું કર્યું અને શું શીખ્યા તે confidenceથી કહી શકશો. Report તમારું work બતાવે છે; viva બતાવે છે કે તમે તે ખરેખર કર્યું, સમજો છો અને તેના માટે બોલી શકો છો.
