તમારા degreeમાં તમે software build કરવાનું શીખ્યા છે; હવે આ subject તમને real workplaceમાં તેને actual work તરીકે apply કરવાની તક આપે છે. BCA606 તમારું internship subject છે: actual firm, industry અથવા organizationમાં 120 hoursનું genuine work experience.
આ taught subject નહીં પરંતુ structured experience છે. NEP-2020 હેઠળ vocationalization
Internship પાછળનો મોટો વિચાર છે vocationalization of education, જેને NEP-2020 એટલે કે National Education Policy 2020 promote કરે છે. Vocationalizationનો અર્થ academic studyમાં practical અને work-based training integrate કરવો, જેથી graduates માત્ર theory જાણતા ન રહે પરંતુ job-ready બને.
માત્ર classroom learningથી students શું જાણે છે અને employersને શું જોઈએ છે તેની વચ્ચે gap રહી શકે છે. તેથી policy courseમાં real-world experience જોડે છે. તમારા programmeમાં આ mandatory 120-hour internshipના રૂપમાં છે: actual organizationમાં internship, apprenticeship અથવા on-the-job training. એટલે educationને world of work સાથે deliberately connect કરવામાં આવે છે.
