Yoga ને grade કેવી રીતે આપશો?
પાછલી bench પરથી એક યોગ્ય પ્રશ્ન: મારું VAC yoga practice અને reflection journal છે, તો એને કોણ marks આપશે અને કેટલા marks માંથી?
અંતે કોઈ central university paper નથી. જવાબ એ જ frame છે જે તમે BCA306 માં જોયો હતો: તમારી institute evaluate કરે છે, અડધું internal, અડધું external, અને successful completion પર 2 credits.
રસપ્રદ ભાગ એ છે કે practice અને fieldwork થી બનેલા course માં internal અને external નો અર્થ શું થાય છે.

Driving licence
Driving licence બે halves થી મળે છે: learner ના log માં નોંધાયેલી અઠવાડિયાઓની supervised practice, અને પછી examiner સામે આપેલો test. એકલું કોઈ પણ half driver હોવાનો પૂરાવો નથી. VAC પણ એ જ principle પર grade થાય છે: આખા semester દરમિયાન સતત participation, પછી end assessment, અને બંને halves નું weight સરખું છે.

BCA307 નું assessment:
- Institute-level evaluation: તમારી institute course ચલાવે અને marks આપે છે.
- 50% internal: semester દરમિયાન બને છે, સામાન્ય રીતે participation, practice attendance, journals, field logs અને assignments પરથી.
- 50% external: institute જાહેર કરે તે પ્રમાણે report, viva, demonstration અથવા test જેવી end assessment.
- સફળ completion પર 2 credits મળે છે, જે અન્ય credits ની જેમ degree માં ગણાય છે.

Evidence પાછળથી લખી શકાતું નથી
આ trap BCA306 જેવો જ છે, પરંતુ અહીં વધુ sharp છે: VAC નું internal evidence કરેલી વસ્તુઓની diary છે: practice logs, journals અને field notes. આમાંથી કંઈ પણ છેલ્લાં અઠવાડિયામાં સાચી રીતે લખી શકાતું નથી. અને 'માત્ર 2 credits છે' એવું વિચારીને neglect ન કરો: incomplete VAC એ real degree requirement પરનો real backlog છે. Day 1 થી journal શરૂ કરો અને એને ધીમે ધીમે ભરવા દો.

Frame પૂર્ણ થાય છે
આ topic સાથે Semester 3 framework નું complete picture તમારી પાસે છે: 2 chosen courses (skill અને value), 5 delivery modes, અને 1 shared evaluation frame, એટલે કે institute level પર 50/50, દરેક માટે 2 credits. આ નાના courses જે habits reward કરે છે, એટલે કે steady logs, honest participation અને viva માં પોતાનું work સમજાવવું, એ જ habits મોટા project semesters માં જરૂરી બનશે.
