Matrices of order M*N

Theory

Theory

Order m×n, rows

A = ⎡ 1 2 3 ⎤

⎣ 4 5 6 ⎦

Quiz

  1. 2×3
  2. 3×2
  3. 6×1
  4. 3×3
Show the answer

3×2

Theory

एक element ढूँढना: aᵢⱼ

हर entry का एक address होता है: aᵢⱼ मतलब row i, column j पर बैठी entry।

  • a₁₂ = 2 (row 1, column 2)
  • a₂₁ = 4 (row 2, column 1)

Think first

Show the answer

Quiz

  1. 3×4
  2. 2×6
  3. 12×1
  4. 5×2
Show the answer

5×2

Exam में ये बहुत आता है: "a matrix has 12 elements, list all possible orders" का मतलब बस इतना है कि 12 के factor pairs लिख दीजिए।

Watch out

Theory

Summary

Key takeaways

  • aᵢⱼ वो entry है जो row i, column j पर है, cinema ticket की तरह: पहले row, फिर seat।
